What we collect

Excursion Day is designed to be useful without collecting much about you. By default we collect only the minimum needed to operate and improve the site:

  • Basic, aggregated usage analytics (pages viewed, approximate region, device type) to understand what's useful and what to improve.
  • Standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) retained for a short period for security and debugging.
  • If you create an account, the email address and authentication data you provide.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their independent marketing.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies and similar storage for essential functionality (such as remembering whether you're in Cruise or Resort mode and keeping you signed in) and for privacy-respecting analytics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; some features may not work without them.

Third-party and affiliate links

Excursion Day links to third-party sites — including booking partners through affiliate programs (see our Affiliate Disclosure), map providers, and reference sources. Once you click through, those sites operate under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to read.

Your choices

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

Excursion Day is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
